Magnus is a mechanical engineering consultant and Professional Engineer in Winnipeg, MB. After graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Manitoba in 2021, Magnus has spent over three years as a mechanical engineering consultant in HVAC and plumbing design before starting HeatWise HVAC. He has been an Associate Member of ASHRAE since 2022, and served on the Board of Governors for the Manitoba Chapter of ASHRAE in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 years. After dozens of projects of using HAP and Chvac for load calculations, Magnus decided it was time for a newer, better, more user-friendly load calculation software, and set out to create HeatWise.
Matthew heads up the software development for HeatWise HVAC. He studied Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania, and has worked as a software engineer on AR/VR software, game-engine development, and video streaming tech. Too often, poor software slows down teams, frustrates its users, and wastes countless hours of employee time. Good software, on the other hand, can help teams produce great results faster.
